Replacing Assets by Uploading a New File

By default, assets by the same file name will add a duplicate file to the Asset Library when uploaded. A feature can be turned on to replace the asset when a file by the same name is uploaded from the ‘Upload Media’ tab in the Asset Library.

Please contact our support team to turn on this feature for your network.


1) Once this feature has been enabled by the EngagePHD support team, go to the Assets Library and use the ‘Upload Media‘ tab to upload your new file. The file name must be the same as the file name of the asset you are replacing.

2) Once the upload is complete, you will need to perform a Force Update on all players using the asset to download the new asset.
