Playlists allow you to schedule one image or video Asset to your Players, or create a rotation of multiple images or video Assets. You can also add Layouts to Playlists. Assets or Layouts can then be scheduled for specific dates, time of day or on a recurring daily schedule.

The Events module is used where you have Room Signs and or Wayfinding based Digital Signage where you want to show what Event is happening in the room and/or the next Event to take place in the room where the display is installed.
