Create Your Directory Listings Using the Product Library





- Name – This will be the name of the listing.
- Category – The widget uses the Category to identify active listings. Some accounts might have ‘Business’ listings versus ‘Residential’ listings on multiple directories at a location. The Category provides a filter.
- Enabled – A ‘Yes’ should be added to ensure that listings are active. If set to ‘No’ or left blank in the spreadsheet, the listing will not show in the widget.
- Description – This is where you can enter the room or suite number, or any other text you want to display to the right of the listing Name.

Add the Building Directory Widget from the Store










The Building Directory widget has an interactive search feature for touchscreens. Please note the correct settings below if you are using a touchscreen directory or a non touch directory.
Settings for Non Touchscreen (Display Listings Only, No Interactive Touch)
- Set Font Style for the Directory – This is where you will create and apply a Font Style. Please also see: Font Styles
- This allows you to filter out which Product Category – The widget uses the Category to identify active listings. Some accounts might have ‘Business’ listings versus ‘Residential’ listings on multiple directories at a location. The Category provides a filter.
- Show A-Z Quick Navigation? – This should be set to ‘N’ for no.
- Show search box – This should be set to ‘N’ for no.
- Set how many companies to show per page – If you have many listings and would like the widget to scroll between multiple pages of listings, you can give this setting a number.
- Set how many rows to show – If you have a lot of listings, you can define how many rows you would like to show in the layout.
- Enter the number of columns of building directory data to show – This is especially helpful if you have many listings and might need to create multiple columns in your layout for all listings to fit.
- Show Page Counter – This shows ‘Back’ and ‘Next’ buttons at the bottom left of the widget. This can be set to ‘N’ to not show this on a non interactive screen.
- Hex codes can be used to visually separate rows.
- Seconds per page before moving to next page – If using Set how many companies to show per page (above), you can use this to set the number of seconds before the page changes.
Settings for Interactive Touchscreens

- Choose location of search/alpha bar – This allows you to change to position of where the search bar is located.
- Set how many companies to show per page – If you have many listings and would like the widget to scroll between multiple pages of listings, you can give this setting a number. Please note: Adding a number will make the default list of all listings disappear. You will have to click (or press on touchscreen) the letters in the search to show listings. Leave this option blank if you would like all listings to show by default.
- Set how many rows to show – If you have a lot of listings, you can define how many rows you would like to show in the layout.

Scheduling the Layout to Players
There are two ways of scheduling your layouts. You can schedule a layout to a Player directly from the layout, or you can use the Schedule module from the Home page.
Scheduling from the Layout Designer
3) Pick out the Groups or individual Player(s) you want to Schedule the Theme to and click ‘Next‘
4) Select ‘Schedule Now‘ or ‘Select Date/Time‘ if you want to Schedule this Playlist to playback at any time in the future. Click ‘Save‘.
5) Create the schedule of when you would like content to start playing and when you would like content to end. Content to show on end allows you to select the action the player(s) should take when the schedule hits the End Date and Time.
Scheduling from the Navigation
1) From the navigation bar, click on the ‘Layouts‘ icon and select ‘Schedule‘:

4) Select ‘Schedule Now‘ or ‘Select Date/Time‘ if you want to Schedule this Playlist to playback at any time in the future. Click ‘Save‘.
5) Create the schedule of when you would like content to start playing and when you would like content to end. Content to show on end allows you to select the action the player(s) should take when the schedule hits the End Date and Time.
